Veronica Habib is a multidisciplinary artist who fashions her work with themes concerning body image, shame and sexuality. She explores her subject matter through the conduit of clothing and how this in turn, relates to sensory perception. Veronica draws attention to the paradigm that clothing is at large a desirable by-product of socially acceptable principles.
Veronica plays on the reveal and conceal nature of clothing to create performative and interactive garments, challenging her audiences perceptions as they associate their actions with violation, pleasure, destruction and play.
